Matt Major has over 25 years of experience as a technology leader across multiple industries where he has repeatedly proven to take pride in learning extensive domain knowledge, contributing to strategic initiatives, driving technology innovation, process improvement, and implementing cost-saving efficiencies, tools, and systems.

As Principal Software Engineer and Lead Architect at a top Fortune 500 retail and logistics company, he designed and developed customer portals, reverse logistics engines, and the build the framework used to stabilize, standardize, and develop 15+ applications. Matt led the implementation of Agile methodologies across the organization and was technical architect of a large-scale cloud ERP and POS project, deployed to 5,000 retail locations. His proactive approach and problem-solving expertise made him a trusted resource in C-level business discussions.

Matt also served as Director of Technology at a major guitar manufacturer, where he developed Sales management and Production scheduling systems, led network infrastructure projects, and implemented VoIP systems. He collaborated with Marketing to create portals for dealers and owners, used to manage warranty registration and promotional programs.

Early in his career, Matt contributed to a leading real estate company’s transition from desktop applications to SaaS platforms and multi-tenant portals with rich reporting capabilities. 

He designed a patented packaging system using real-time object identification for dynamic packaging instructions.

Certified as a Secure Software Lifecycle Professional, Matt integrates security practices across all phases of the software across an organization.

A San Diego native, Matt holds a BS in Computer Science and Math/Physics.
